When Loving Someone Is Difficult

You may know what Jesus says while still wrestling with resentment, pride, avoidance, disappointment, or the desire to protect yourself.

Love That Becomes Visible
Jesus says something important in John 13:35. The way His followers love one another makes something visible. Our words matter. Our tone matters. The way we forgive, listen, serve, speak truth, show patience, and handle disagreement can reveal something about the One we follow.
That does not mean biblical love ignores hurt, abandons healthy boundaries, or pretends everything is acceptable. Instead, this study invites you to ask a more personal question: How can the love I have received from Jesus shape the way I respond now?
You do not have to fix every difficult relationship this week. Start with one person. Start with one honest look at your own heart. Then take one concrete step of love.
